With over eleven years of experience as a social worker and mental health therapist, I’m passionate about guiding people to unlock their full potential and create lasting change.

I hold a PhD, but my real expertise comes from my lived experiences and the real-world work I’ve done with clients just like you. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, I’ve defied the odds myself by overcoming barriers to educational attainment, financial security, healthy relationships, mental wellness, physical health, spiritual steadiness, and long-term sobriety. My journey fuels my belief that no matter how high the hurdles are, transformation is always possible.

My research on childhood sexual abuse survivors—especially the effects of COVID-19 on abuse rates in Michigan—has only deepened my commitment to helping fellow survivors rise up and thrive. As someone in long-term sobriety, I know firsthand the power of overcoming addiction, rebuilding, and finding true freedom. That’s exactly why I’m here: to help you do the same!
